Oh but it doesn't say copy. Connect your ps3 to your pc. There are many methods to do this look up 1! Use this program to decrypt your HDD

After you do that open up your server.cfg and put in all the hacks you want. You must know how to do MW2 Default Coding. After You do that Transfer You Patch back over to ps3, load up Mw2 and Select Private Match and Enjoy.

no he isnt. he has 3 ps3's. one is on 3.15, one is on 3.21 and the third is on 3.30. he posted on other forums he' still trying to figure out how to get 3.30 working

Could somebody make a more detailed tutorial of how to use the PS3 HDD Studio please. I don't really understand the one given on the PS3 News website and I've never really done anything like this before.

Well, that blows. I get to where it says:

• Unplug the Hdd and create a merged Image (#FIND & MERGE# section) naming it: MasterImage_To_Encrypt_xxx.bin
(where xxx is the console FW version).


And then I am lost... Create a merged file.. huh? I don't see any option for that with HDD studio on the find & merge section.

Then the steps after that just confuse the hell out of me even more. I have no idea what these steps are even referencing to, let alone what they could possibly mean.

Not to mention my HDD isn't even visible to my computer or through HDD studio.

Seems to me the only people who can understand that 'gibberish' are expert programmers. I would assume there is only a few on this entire forum who truly understand it.

I am by no means a complete idiot when it comes to computers, but that tutorial makes me wonder, what the hell is this saying? And as if it is just pure nonsense to mess with people who don't know any better. Since it seems incredibly vague, yet detailed at the same time.

Good news!
I find a way to Encrypt the HDD with modified data on the 3.30 firmware!
Now I need help for find where is the crypted patch_mp.ff in the decrypted HDD Image for try to decrypt it with ffViewer!
