Lot of stuff flying around, lets simplify it.


1. HOW IS MW2 HACKED ONLINE? INFECTIOUS WHO, AIDS!!???
People have figured a way to edit the game data/save files for PS3 games now by editing the data on the HDD via PC and sending it back as if it was never touched so PS3 thinks its untampered etc.

2. PS3 IS HACKED?! YAAAYY I KNEW IT
No its not, Sony's box is still safe and sound. The only thing people have done is edited a game's file without it or the PS3 detecting it. The PS3 itself is still secure, no Jtags of any kind, fully encrypted yet.

3. IS IT GONNA BE FOREVER? LIKE CHRIS BROWNS TUNE?
No, Infinity Ward will most likely bring out a patch soon (maybe with new maps) to fix this. It will prob add some different encryption to the files so no more editing can be done. Its nothing like jtag, its nothing to do with the PS3 security itself, only the game files. But its possible they could counter the patch if IW release one and be able to carry on. Not sure how long they could go for until either IW or the hackers stopped trying

4. WHO FOUND IT, I WANNA SEND EM A COOKIE?
For MW2 it seems to be hunter128, and now i've been told he also did it for cod4 and waw too.
the principle is pretty much the same due to the similarity of the game files, so guessing after finding out how to do it for cod4 they could easily transfer the knowledge over to mw2 etc.

5. IS IT FOR MW2 ONLY? OR COD4? OR BOTH?
There are the modded lobby hacks available for COD4 and MW2 and WAW - all the main COD games have different types of hacks for them. most have super speed, aimbot, knifing but there are the game specific ones like ac130 rapid firing etc

6. WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?
On cod4 you can do a lot more stuff so far
1. aimbot
2. laser attatchment
3. infinite ammo like noobtubes etc
4. super speed
5. possibly more but i aint seen all of it yet

MW2
1. super speed
2. all care packages to ac130 (or anything you want)
3. really weird knifing from a mile away
4. rapid ac130 firing
5. more being unlocked and found as we speak, this is all new so there will most likely
be other stuff coming

7. I WANNA DO IT? HOW I DO IT?
On both cod4 and mw2 you can become infected with it. this means whenever you join a game or lobby with someone who has done it before it will become attached to you as well (like AIDS). it wears off after you sign off or reboot PS3. you also only get super speed i think.

To have it permanent as well as the other hacks like ac130 in care package you need to have joined a lobby directly with the founder or someone close to them .

8.WHERE IS DA TUTORIAL MAAN?
hunter128 has said no tutorial which is kinda lame right now but they could change mind later. HOWEVER, as it was done on COD4 earlier by others its likely it will be released to the masses quickly, and the principle will be the same as COD4 and MW2 are quite similar

Your totally right, i shouldn't underestimate people but generally most of the people on this forum arnt familiar on the likes of decrypting, decompressing etc which is all required for this to work.

Non pas sa, boîte de Sony est encore sain et sauf. La seule chose que les gens ont fait est édité fichier d'un jeu sans le ou la détection de PS3 il. La PS3 est elle-même toujours en sécurité, pas de JTAGS de toute nature, entièrement chiffrés pour le moment.

Non, Infinity Ward sera très probablement sortir un patch bientôt (peut-être avec de nouvelles cartes) pour réparer cela. Il prob ajouter le cryptage des fichiers différents donc pas plus de montage peut être fait. Sa rien comme jtag, son rien à voir avec la sécurité PS3 elle-même, seuls les fichiers du jeu. Mais il est possible qu'ils puissent lutter contre le patch si une version IW et être capable d'exercer. Vous ne savez pas combien de temps ils pourraient aller jusqu'à ce que IW ou les hackers cessé d'essayer

4. Qui l'a trouvé, je veux envoyer EM qu'un cookie?
Pour MW2 il semble être hunter128, et maintenant que j'ai été, il dit aussi qu'il a fait pour cod4 et waw trop.

Sur les deux cod4 et MW2 vous pouvez devenir infecté. Cela signifie que lorsque vous rejoignez une partie ou de hall d'accueil avec quelqu'un qui l'a fait avant elle deviendra attaché à vous aussi (comme le sida). il disparaît après avoir signer ou de redémarrer la PS3. vous aussi que vous super vitesse, je pense.

Pour avoir un caractère permanent, ainsi que les autres hacks comme AC130 dans le paquet de soins dont vous avez besoin d'avoir rejoint un lobby directement avec le fondateur ou un de leurs proches.

IS 8.Lorsque DA MAAN tutoriel?
hunter128 a dit pas de tutoriel qui est un peu boiteux pour le moment mais ils pourraient changer d'avis plus tard. Toutefois, comme il a été fait sur COD4 plus tôt par d'autres de ses chances, il sera publié à la masse rapidement, et le principe sera le même que COD4 et MW2 sont assez semblables

I was thinking this too, but HSX9 keeps saying he is. I saw COD4 videos with the hack from last week sometime, nobody knows who has done it first now.

no way to prove they found it first either, they better release a tut soon before it starts getting patched, showing is bs :puke:

its better that he keeps the hack to HIMSELF or to closest mates that wont spread this around. if he releases a tut on how to do it, IW will patch it easily. if he keeps it to himself, the hack will be out longer for us and we becomes infected anyways so that's good enough.
