I was wondering, if anyone could tell me how big the difference between a 3 bar and a 4 bar connection is. I heard ppl that say, sniping with 3 bar is A LOT harder than with 3 bar. Is that true, cos i get 90% of the games a 3 bar connection.

A 3-bar does NOT indicate a good connection believe me. I have the worst ping for online gaming and also only get 40kb a second(like 100mb in an hour and ten minutes) max and I get the damn 3 bar. From what I can tell a four bar is either when your host or you live in japan with super net.

It can also be glitchy where your pretty laggy and it gives you a 4-bar.

If my internet is down, I have to use my friend which only gives me about a 2 bar, rare 3 bar. I don't see a huge huge difference, but it is a little more laggy with the 3 bar than with the 4 bar.

i dont notice no difference.thinks its the same just a little laggy

from what i know.. the bars only mean your connection to the server.. not the connection to host.. i have had lots of games where the bar is at 4 but yet it still lags..

same here, i always have 4 bar games, yet it still lags like mad. i dont go much off of the bars.

I think only good players are able to notice a miliseconds of delay (3-4 bars is a lot difference) when you see a killcam and before you died you shoot 3-4 bullets in your enemy, and @ killcam you can see f...k all. Thats the difference. When you have 4 bars you can see them 3 - 4 bullets on killcam just before you died. Sorry 4 my english. Peace.

there are some differences, personally i find if i got 4bars i tend to kill the person alot quicker, i also find that famas is better with 3bar but m16 better on 4 bars, i dunno why but i just cant seem to use a m16 on 3bars lol .. i also find it annoying on 3 bars if some1 is shooting me and i run into a building and die, but on the killcam i was no where near entering the building, whereas on 4 i tend to not die and be in the bulding... just some things i have found

yea.. it makes no sense that you still lag with 4 bars.. i thought bars actually meant something good but it doesn't.. lol.. another thing i can't understand is that sometimes during a game the connection will go from 4 bars to 2-1 bar for a little bit then back to 4.. might happen a couple times during the game.. one more thing i notice is that at the beginning of the game(while everyone is connecting)if i look at the bars and they are yellow to red then they go to 4.. the game will have a bit of lag.. but if it's 3-4 bars right away then i notice that the games are fine.. (if you know what i mean)
