I was wondering, if anyone could tell me how big the difference between a 3 bar and a 4 bar connection is. I heard ppl that say, sniping with 3 bar is A LOT harder than with 3 bar. Is that true, cos i get 90% of the games a 3 bar connection.

I think your connection is also somewhat based on the host's connection.

3 bar is playable, 2 bar is so laggy you kinda jump across the battlefield, and 4 bar is perfect. mine is always 3.

with four bar connection you're usually the host or if more than one person has a four bar connection, they probably live relatively close to the host. maybe not in the same region, but i do know my friend lives in north east TX and i live in Katy TX and we both have four bar. plus it depends on how well the hosts internet is functioning as well as your own. a lot of people will actually complain of lag on CoD games when it's actually their own internet. so be sure to reset router frequently and look up ways to make NAT type open if possible. as said before me, the game will sometimes pick a host that doesn't deserve it. in this case you will see people switching from 1 red bar to four full green bars kind of quick. but honestly if you're host you definitely have an advantage with guns such as the M16 as i've personally noticed. just my thoughts.

the question that i really want to know is what is the difference between a 2 and 3 bar connection.. :p

jk. jermz is probably right. if it is 1 bar, youre connection is probably weak or have someone using the net and using a lot of virtual memory and usually slows down a router connection. but most of it depends on how the hosts connection is and the distance away from the host u are. my connection was complete shit and it always migrated hosts each match i went into.

I would give up playing people from around the world to get a better,more consistant, regional connection.
I hate tubing,but sometimes the connection issues forces a choice between tubing or quiting.
Just make the game equal for everyone online !!!

well with 4 bar they r pretty much exactly where u see them on your screen but with less bars they will be slightly further ahead and can some how kilol u after u turn corner cause u havent on there screen

4 = good
3 = not so good :p

yes i see the difference! its a bit....but theres a difference
