Oh my god - it has nothing to do with english! When something is programmed it is written in a programming langauge that is readable; an example is java:

This is then compiled down into another type of file, which when tried to read without decompiling it will come out looking oddly just the same as when you open a compiled file from the PS3.

Now class files or compiled files can also be encrypted, with java the most often used type of encryption is obfuscation. Obfuscation/encryption takes your compiled files and changes terms renames methods and generally makes it harder to reverse engineer and decompiled files.

After files are compiled they are then read by the machine and compiled down even further into machine code.

NOTHING has to do with english except for the fact that the programming language used is based on english for readability. So in conclusion:

To mod a file on the ps3 you would need to
1. Take your compiled and encrypted files
2. Decrypt the files
3. Decompile the files
4. Modify the files
5. Recompile the files
6. Reencrypt the files
7. Replace on the machine

However, there are checksums and other failsafes to prevent you from modding the files so when you recompile&reencrypt the files you must look to make sure the files will not throw an error.

Lol, them online translators suck at actually translating. Word for Word, they might work. But trying doing any actual phrase or sentence, and it all goes to hell. Most of them do literal translations, and do nothing for context or grammar.

Google translate considers grammar and the entire sentence. I have confirmed this with various language proffs. and they all say its the best they've seen. If you translate a literal french sentence, it comes in the actual English meaning...

Hunter128 probably has put alot of time into figuring this out and probably had HSx9 help him out.But we will eventually find out how to do it.
