He edited his mw2 patch. He connected his computer to his ps3 and used a program to decode most of the stuff. Then he edited everything.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about this. Java is a programming language. That is how applications are made. Other programming languages are c++, python, ruby, perl, c, basic, c#, Lua, boo, JavaScript, Obj C and much more. These languages are in English and you make scripts on them. I use c++ and python for text programming. I use JavaScript and python for scripts in my games. Scripts in a programming language are compiled and put into a language the computer can read, like assembly language. I hope this helped you understand some stuff.

the game saves are not the way Hunter did the hack, he edited the patch, and regardless, the gamesave will not be made so it can be in readable english, its for a computer, not a person... And the game save is encrypted and most probably compressed.

He didnt do all that he decrypted his hard drive then he found the mw2 patch and decrypted that edit it then re crypted it and put it back onto his hardrive the only question is how did he decrypt it...

Hunter decrypted the mw 2 patch and coded it. Then he reuploaded it to his ps 3. Dont ask me how couse i dont know.

Some people pointed out that you have to grab the harddisk inside and decrypt it with a tool called PS3 HDD Studio.

Never tried, I'm busy on other stuff. Maybe you guys and get to that thread, and try whatever you can do=]
