(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello every1.
I want to know if this could work (my own modded Lobby):

1. Connect PC with PS3 (PS3 HDD Studio?)
2. Look for MW2 Patch file (Patch 1.10)
3. Decrypt the Patch (Which program ?)
4. Open & edit the Patch (Which program ?) (Script Language: C++ ?)
5. Save & crypt the Patch file
6. Transfer the file back to the PS3
7. Have fun w/ MODDED LOBBY.... (???)

Is this a good way or BULLSHIT ?

Hope 4 a quick answer ^^

from what we know this is how hunter first created his lobbies, what you need to know though is mw2 standard coding. when you know this you can add your own codes in the patch to allow you to do new things eg sprint forever high jump infinate amo ect

+ rep if this helped Happy

That way is as you say - 'bullshit' lol.
You can't just look in the PS3 HDD with HDD studio, you have to decrypt it, which is a very long process, and no longer works because of 3.30 FW.

Basically the way it used to work to decrypt the HDD was:

1.) Make a dump of your PS3 HDD (connect to your PC via SATA)
2.) Plug HDD back to your PS3
3. Copy a large-dummy file to the HDD
4.) Unplug HDD from PS3, and plug it back into your PC
5.) Dump the HDD image again
6.) Compare the two dumps you know have, and locate the encrypted dummy data (use HxD or any hex editor to do this)
7.) Replace the encrypted dummy data with sections of the data you want to decrypt
8.) Place the HDD back into your PS3
9.) Copy dummy data from PS3 to external media (USB drive/flash drive)
10.) Inspect the dummy file on PC from USB stick/flash drive.
11.) Edit the file you've got.
12.) Place back on to external media and copy back onto the PS3 HDD from the PS3 so it is encrypted
13.) Copy the encrypted file over the place of the patch so you now have the encrypted edited patch on the PS3 HDD

But that no longer works because Sony fixed it with 3.30
