Well if you're on 3.30 you won't be able to decrypt the HDD, but if you're below 3.30, then you should be able to decrypt it. If you are on 3.30 don't even bother trying, you'll just waste your time.

yeah dude i know that but im going too find out how too get too 3.00 or below if it means buying a cheaply ps3 that hasnt been updtaed hen i will but some one says they found out how too do it on 3.30.

and if someone like hunter gave us his files we could just go straight and put his files in our usbs and on too cod not just hunter but anyone who can host the lobbies

Try changing "ac130" to "0" and it might make it so you don't lag and the map doesn't shake n shit when the ac130 blows shit up.

I don't think you can downgrade your PS3, and Hunter's files won't be transferable by USB. But if someone has found a way on 3.30 that would be awesome! And yh, I've been thinking about buying a cheap broken PS3 which is below 3.30 (one which has like a faulty blu-ray or sumin so it would be sold really cheap), then decrypt the HDD, and then use the transfer data utility to get it onto the PS3 which is on 3.30, that way you could use the hacks online...

Wait, so you are saying that Hunter is below 3.30 AND CAN STILL PLAY ONLINE? Lolwat? How is that?

Also, xMajiczX, I think you only need an SATA 2.5" to an USB 2.0 adapter, not an entire new HDD, but probably you are meaning something else than I understood. Anyways, goodluck to all of those who are trying.
Maybe Hunter128 with his knowledge + Unkn0wn with his MW2 coding, both of them releasing their tools and creating a bigass tutorial = A big win...

When you can decrypt your HDD and replace the old patch_mp.ff with this one, could this work ?
