Post: Hack Question: Finding dummy file on 3.30

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know a few people have been able to find it and if u hav can u give me an example of where it mite b (middle, end) and an example of how it will look like because i dont see any repeating files at the moment...

EDIT I found the dummy file. what 3.30 does is jumbles where the start of the dummy hex appeared. mine appeared near the start of the file not the midde. correct me if im wrong

EDIT i didnt find dummy it wasnt right... still searching

if you scroll the hex data nearly all the 512b sectors start and end with the same bytes. starts 06 end 96 or whatever them sectors are empty! they have repeating bits becuase its the encrytion layer put on by ps3 firmware. so the dummy will be a break in the pattern, am not having much luck at the min, my eyes are hurting.

if i find the dummy i will post the 16 bytes, but thats just the dummy. when ur searching for the patch that gets encrypted, its gonna be a different string of bytes we need to look for

wat u mean bro coz all mine start with different digits and end with different digits but heres an image i got but it comes up with error dummy file 2 small wen i use the 16 bytes of it
also wud all dummys b same hex line coz i thought each sector wud be different 2 each person.
and if u find it post pic plz man

my ps3 hdd has nearly finished formatting, i have had to start again, got all confused with dummy data. will try find dummy then take pics, how are you doing it?? find/merge and straight from physical drive? or an image from prepare hdd?? i keep getting errors on my dump and from pyshical hdd at 98% something bout an uneven value. kept doing same thing, so decided to format again so i can reuload dummy to hdd

wierd mine hasnt done that but im using the image created from prepare hdd section. as in MasterImage+Dummy_To_decrypt or wateva
