No funny picture just yet, I can't find one! :(

Right, I've been making tactic guides, assault rifle guides, sub machine guides, so I thought enough of it. I've decided to make a light machine gun guide, but not a classic one like 'just attach FMJ and shoot through walls. I'm going to make this AUG HBAR guide a rushing guide.

So yeah, as always I will accept positive feedback, and constructive criticism, but not negative feedback, thanks.

Enjoy the guide.

[multipage=Pros and Cons]
Pros and Cons

First time I have integrated this type, or way, if you like, of rating the guns, but anyway, hope it gets the point across not only quicker, but easier. The pros will be denoted by +. Where as the cons will be denoted by -.

+ High damage
+ Assault rifle on drugs
+ Fast reload
+ Most mobile of LMGs
+ Iron sights provide ease of use

- Rips through ammo
- Incredibly ugly
- Small ammo for an LMG
- Recoil goes a bit crazy sometimes

Discussions/Points of view are welcome on these. Just keep it clean, I tried to be as unbiased as possible, so live with it, bee hatches.

[multipage=Killstreaks]
Killstreaks

To maximise rapage ratings when using this gun, you want to have the right killstreaks equipped. I choose UAV, Predator, and Harrier. Sticking to the default 3,5,7 killstreaks.

The reason behind this is the fact that when you pick up that easy UAV, you can get a lot of kills from then on, especially with your harriers, and they are not even hard to get.

Predators and Harrier often tend to get multi-kills, which fairly prop up your kill tally, which again, is the purpose of rushing.

[Multipage=Perks]
Perks

Straight down to business here, only listing useful perks, so don't give me the whole perk isn't there business.

Marathon; We all know it's almost the ideal perk for rushing, but isn't at all vital to rush, you don't need to have a constant sprint to be able to rush, however we all know it is a great perk for rushing.

Bling; Can be useful, if the player really is more comfortable with two attachments, for instance a silencer with acog, but I wouldn't recommend it for rushing.

Scavenger; Again, if you tear through ammo, which the AUG HBAR may have a tendency to do so, use scavenger. I don't feel it would be needed, I've only really wished I used it about 2 or 3 times, not vital.

Sleight of Hand; Best perk for this gun, you need a fast reload on this gun, if your rushing you want to have a constant fire up, therefore fast reload is vital, not to mention the faster ADS is very useful too.

Stopping Power; Very useful, not really good for rushing, takes the AUG HBAR to a 2 hit kill, due to the increase to 59 damage per shot. I would use if you are a whore who has never used a different perk than this.

Lightweight; Now we're talking, rushing with 7% faster speed? Yes please. We all know this is the ultimate rushing perk, faster movement, also the pro perk combined with sleight of hand pro, rapes. Almost instant aim down sight, again, yes please.

Steady Aim; Makes your hip-fire a lot more accurate, which makes an LMG a lot more versatile, for this reason, the only perk 3 I would use, although the others are not completely out of the equation, I just don't feel they have necessary points to go over.

[multipage=Attachments]
Attachments

Foregrip; Reduced recoil, increased accuracy, great attachment, however, only pays off at longish range, for this reason, I would keep away from it, most of the time.

Red Dot Sight; Reduces the muzzle flash, as it is so highly mounted on the gun, again, useful if you hate muzzle flash. As with stopping power, use this if you have never used a different attachment on a gun.

Holographic Sight; Same as the red dot sight, really it is, I don't care what you say. If you can better your game by using this holographic sight, I don't know what you do, it's no different.

Silencer; Surprisingly good, still a 3 hit kill, again, reduced muzzle flash, keeps you unseen, good attachment if you like to stealth rush, like a little ninja fly raping mong thing.

Heartbeat Sensor; Don't use, very rare you will find anyone not using ninja nowadays, so it has no respectable use, I would avoid it to be honest.

ACOG Scope; Works miracles with grip attached, but otherwise it... fails. I've never liked ACOG scope, but if your so attached to it, use it.

Extended Mags; Increases the magazine from 42 to 68, making it the most holy attachment, most people want this one, it ups it's LMG status.

FMJ; Works well on Highrise and Terminal, maps with thin cover, because it keeps the two hit kill factor, good attachment.

[multipage=How to Rush]
How to Rush

So, that's how to equip yourself to rush, but now you'll be curious how to actually rush.

There's many tactics to rushing, firstly, I will talk about the weird variant that tends to work well with LMGs is the camp rush, basically, when you spawn/start the game, rush to a building, or cover. When you make the cover safely, camp, maybe lay down a claymore. Get a few kills, draw the enemy in toward you, then when they become consistent, move on, get in behind them, using the building you were previously in as a decoy. This works well to get quick killstreaks.

The other way would be to end other peoples killstreaks, just go crazy, run into enemy territory and unleash hell on them, kill everyone you see, constantly move, never stay still, this will make it hard for the enemy to keep track of you. This works well when the players on the other team aren't as up to scratch as your team, you can really devastate with this gun.

[multipage=Conclusion]
To Conclude..

Thanks for reading, hope you picked up a few tips and hints from this guide, I look forward to hearing your feedback.

As always, expect more guides, a lot more.

Sam out.

Really its pointless to rush with an LMG. Here is why:

To have a good rushing class, you need lightweight. But an LMG needs stopping power to be a 2 hit kill, otherwise its a 3 hit kill just like most assault rifles and the ump (so why not use those, considering LMGS have more recoil and you move slow with them). So there is absolutely no benefit to use an LMG for rushing over an assault rifle like the tar or scar. Use LMGs for camping/holding down an area, not rushing.

Usually I like your guides but this one is kind of pointless

If you read it, I stated this was to be different, not at any point did I say "this actually serves no purpose as the UMP and most ARs do more damage, I know this is true, but it's a twist, something different. Also, without stopping power the UMP is a 3 hit kill.

The AUG HBAR is practically an assault rifle, it has more mobility than the others. You mention recoil, the only assault rifles I can think of that have less recoil than the AUG HBAR would be the M4, ACR, and SCAR, because they have literally none. The HBAR has virtually no recoil, it just sways occasionally.

To summarise, I don't feel you have read this enough, took into account what I tried to achieve with this guide, you have immediately tried to be different and stand out, I am not indulging into evilness, but I feel your wrong, on so many levels, no offence.

This guide is to be different, basically what you said was what the classical usage of an LMG is, not what my variant is, like I said, no negatives.

Well SP doesn't affect the UMP and if you don't screw up you can always hit that extra bullet with ease. Also the AUG has the lowest rate of fire between all LMG's so that might make things a biut harder if you got rid of SP.

In all honesty the LMG's are a crazy mans weapon, you get to a high vantage point and rape or run into their "base" and raise hell.

Interesting take on an AUG. I've never really used it. My LMG of choice is an MG4 and if I'm going to rush, P90 holographic please

How does it reduce muzzle flash? never heard of a red dot sight that does that! :confused:
