I'm not some random n00btard, I've got over 40 days of play time between a handful of cod games so I've had enough experimenting lol. When I play on my wired connection I've got harriers and pavelows raping all day. Use the tv in the next room on wireless, I can't get a fn uav.

Some matches nobody can catch you, bullets spray 3 feet behind you all day and you are unstoppable, 3+ kdr. Switch lobbies and you go 10-25?!??

Sometimes I think skill has little to do with either of those scores, good or bad. I'm pretty sure I didn't all of a sudden turn into a crappy player, then get good again 30 min later.

In starting to think connection, because if I'm host I'll have flawless games, and if I have a 2-3 bar connection, I can't get a kill no matter what I try.

my reasoning is:

if you absolutely suck then you will always do bad regardless of connection.
connection means that a player who is not as good as you will still beat you because they see you 1st.
However if your skilled you can simply own the other 5 members of the opposition that aren't host lol

I just want consistency.
I would love an awesome connection all the time and it does give anyone an advantage.
Skill is a relative term, involving target aquisition,strategy,map knowledge and a host of other factors. Getting rounds on target the quickest wins and connection speeds heavily influence that ability.
It did not seem that COD 4&5 had this issue as much, but I hope 7 has an option to choose regional players or something to create more consistency in the connection speeds.

skill is better because ,,, even if you have a great connection but u have no skill ,,, then your s**t , if you have alot of skill and bad connection u will still play better than some1 who is crap

but someone who is decent and and doesnt suck and has a great connection will always tend to do good.

some times u get those shitty times when u put 15+ bullets in sum1s head and they turn around an kill you in 1 bullet

I'd say skill because today on WaW i had 1 bar and was still dominating.. unless its like brutal connection.. then ill do bad
