(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); We are part of the Premium community on NGU but all we ever seem to get are hacks and glitches that have already been put on YouTube and been put through the non premium section until someone complains? I mean what is the point of hacking if you’re not going to share the accomplishments.

If anybody has this hack and are willing to share it please do but only in the Premium section. Write a really good tutorial and maybe a few videos and be the first to put your name on the tutorial and get the respect from the community.

It is really what this section is all about, sharing the wealth of knowledge and working together to hack mod and glitch this game. Please People share your wealth!

i purchased premium to have access to things that regular users don't have. and it looks like hunter and theunk0wn are just gonna hog it up. that's not what true modders do.

It doesn't really matter what they're focused on, they have people that poke around the web looking for holes to plug up. This would be one of those holes that they would have to report. It WILL be addressed, but the only things left to see would be when and how.

We already have access to things normal users don't have. Just because we don't have the precise thing you're looking for, doesn't mean we don't have anything worth donating for.

And the reason why Hunter128 is not releasing it is because as soon as it goes public it is going to be patched. Don't think so? Well the PS3 is known as the most secure console and Sony is going to pull out all the stops to keep it that way. Look at what they did over the exploit in OtherOS that GeoHot found. Would you rather have a select few be able to do it for 3 months, or be able to do it yourself for a week (minus the 2 or 3 days it takes you to get it completely figured out)?

True modders... True modders figure the stuff out. It's leeches and attention hogs that release the stuff to everyone. Take GeoHot for example. People had been working on the iPhone for quite awhile before he went and announced HIS success to the world. And thanks to him constantly announcing his success with the newest FW, the other "hackers" had to keep starting on the newest FW before finished with the one they were previously working with.

So tell me, would a true modder do something that they KNOW would get their exploit removed in a matter of days? Or would they keep it to a select few and let the general public reap a small percentage of the rewards?

I know what I would do.

I agree with you, there may very well be a Microsoft and Sony employee with premium access to the forms just waiting for Hunter or Unknown to post it. Come back a few days later after that, Patched!!! Look what happened to the COD4 hacks after a few days of being publicly released. Although the UFO "hack" was around for a few weeks before it was patched.

Its already basically patched, thats why theres so much talk about needing a PS3 with FW v3.21 or lower.

You can decrypt a v3.21 FW PS3 HDD (or lower) with ease, it can be done.

Hello,

Just had an idea, Whats the point of hacking the hard drive when i can just make one my self (Patch.MP) then get my PS3 to download it by using my very own program as it will download from my PC.

So there is really no need to hack into the hard drive as all you are replacing is the Patch so you really need is a Patch file which i have then put it back to to the PS3 using my very own PS3 Trasfer over LAN.

Simples. Will post back tonight if i cant get the patch codded with what i want.

This will not work. The ps3 will not download just the patch_mp, it will need a pkg to download. A pkg is the systems executable. If you were able to do this then homebrew would be available because direct access to the file system would be needed

I would put the Patch into the PKG any way as it needs to be like that any way.

I have thought it all out dont worry.
