(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); We are part of the Premium community on NGU but all we ever seem to get are hacks and glitches that have already been put on YouTube and been put through the non premium section until someone complains? I mean what is the point of hacking if you’re not going to share the accomplishments.

If anybody has this hack and are willing to share it please do but only in the Premium section. Write a really good tutorial and maybe a few videos and be the first to put your name on the tutorial and get the respect from the community.

It is really what this section is all about, sharing the wealth of knowledge and working together to hack mod and glitch this game. Please People share your wealth!

Please "Thanks" if you agree

Why do people think that being prem deserves the right to somone elses lobby? If your prem, the other person doesn't get any money or anything? I can see why we might have a better chance but it's still a bit rediculous to expect it :L

So if no one knows, then Sony can't know. The day it's posted on here is the day the patch to fix it goes in to motion.

Possible but not entirely true. I am sure people from both IW AND Sony try to crack their software. Why does Microsoft release updates every few weeks with security definition updates, sure, people keep cracking for viruses and crap. But Microsoft can't have known about all the security exploits from computers sending reports. They have a team testing for exploits all the time.

Microsoft was the first company that came to mind.

Fair enough, but if it lasted this long without being detected it has the potential to be concealed for months or even years. I would at least say it will last another 3 months as long as no tutorial is publicly released.

I don't understand why everyone keeps saying "oh it'll be patched" when the hack is editing the patch itself... you can't patch something like this. Even a firmware update won't fix it because you're doing the hack on an older PS3, and then transferring it to a new one.

While this is true, Sony or Infinity Ward could make implementation much, much harder. Only way this would never be fix-able is if someone found a way to make the code adjustable on the fly, even then, I'm strongly positive that will never happen.

Ok, I just want to know, do you have a definitive source stating that you use multiple PS3s? Because I don't see how that would work, you can't transfer data between PS3s on different firmwares, and you can't just pop the HDD out of one and into the other without doing a reformat first.

I.W. may not be able to patch it, but Sony is willing to do anything to keep the PS3's reputation for being the most secure next gen console. The removed a pretty big feature (that they claimed they would continue to support for the life of the PS3) because GeoHot found a flaw that eventually led to nothing. Then depending on what the "hack" actually entails, Sony could roll a patch out within days. Whereas now, the only problem people could encounter would be a change in encryption, which would be a pain to overcome, but wouldn't patch the hole, making it possible to continue hacking.

If anyone knows information other than what I've stated or that contradicts what I've stated, I would appreciate it if you gave me a source of some sort. Not trying to be rude, but I want to get my facts straight. Thank you.

Do you have proof that this doesn't work? I haven't seen a definitive answer to this anywhere, nor do I know anyone who's tried it.

I know that.

Not to be blunt, but this is coming from someone who claimed GeoHot wasn't a great hacker. Hopefully you completely understood my reply to that post in premium and understood your fault, but honestly, the guy is good at what he does. Granted the person who claimed he could "hack MW2 in 12 seconds" clearly didn't get it, but I respect GeoHot for his work on the iPhone.

Sure, he hasn't done anything super epic on the PS3 yet, but I don't see anyone else trying as hard as he is or making as much progress as he has.
