Most of the MW2 sections have been getting messy with threads which are generally follow on the lines of "How do I hack" ect. So, in an effort to compile the questions and generally clean up the section, I made this thread where ALL questions relating to decryping the HDD ect will be placed, as well as theories for hacking the PS3 . Then, other hackers can answer your question if they can, or offer some advice. Do NOT:

-Request lobbies.
-Ask for a full tutorial - there isn't one as of yet.
-Ask a question which was answered in recent posts.
-Post here if you aren't hacking the PS3.

not to sound like a douche... but stop and think to yourself for a minute, how is it possible to receive the game patch? when you're going to send it right back?/facepalm

use your other ps3(if you have one) 3.66 FW and Data Transfer the GAME Patch to the 3.55 CFW ps3. then overwrite patch_mp.ff using your Comgenies/blackbox. and then Data Transfer it back to your 3.66 FW Ps3.

Need help with converting an xbox patch to ps3 tried buc-shotz and pcfreak converters but all go to 100kb and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

How and can you bypass 1.12 patch MW2 by deleting Default_mp.self or a .self file and can you or is it possible???

If its converting but into a way lower kb file, then its your patch and not the converter.

If your looking for the code it's "r_znear 4" that's the default value. i use "toggle r_znear 55 4" that toggles it from default to a pretty good wall hack. but you can always change the value to your liking. oh and you cant just type the code anywhere you have to put it into a patch then transfer the patch to your ps3/xbox.
