ummmm im new to this so no idea how to post so this is just a test... im sorry if it ends up in the wrong place... BUT anyone else having he issue of when you put on force host you cant get a groundwar.... tdm... or any objective games..it just keeps kicking everyone out the lobby... or the prob where you put on force host n you dont end up getting host...

OKAY, so right now im on 356 ofw and if do the 355 ofw via update stoage media, will i be able to put cfw on my ps3. and then be able to do my lobbies n all that, ill rep if i get feedback, thanks dudes

Ok hear me out !!! let me begin by saying I am a noob at hacking !
2nd !... while this thread is about Hacking the HDD of the PS3 for MW2 and this question/post of mines may or may not deal with the HDD(idk seeing that I can't find an answer as to how to do it !), it is a problem with the PS3 version of MW2 and is still considered a Hack(by hex hxd MPDATA) so I posted it here. I've seen this question asked by other people as well all over by googling it but the question is never answered !.
The question is does ANYONE know how to change the "Player" "Guest 2(3/4)" to the profile names in splitscreen(PS3) using the "hxd" hex edit ?... or a way to change them at all so that it says the profile name instead !?!... and it seem to only be an issue for PS3 version cause some of the askers said they've play the xbox version and it says the profile name
I'm a noob at this hacking stuff and only at entry level with hacking splitscreen profiles(MPDATA) with hex editor !.
Also !!!, *and this is not as important... but...* if anyone knows which offsets and hexs digit that will get rid of the green "new" boxes in lobby would help too(there are 6 of them stuck !... the "challenges" in barracks, "Title" & "em's" in Callsigns/KStreak and the primary,secondary&equip in create class all have a green "new" box stuck next to them even though I've highlighted everything in those options) !!.
I'd really appreciate the help !!!

***So far I've MPDATA hex(hxd) edited/created splitscreen(PS3) profiles(with 10th Prest, All Unlocks, and even reset Score - Time played all back to "0" so we can keep track of everything) for my friends and I for when we play offline having fun and/or tournaments. All that's left is getting the profile names to appear under the title in the lobby and over the players heads in matches... oh and getting rid of the 6 green "new" boxes that seem to be stuck there... but my main concern is the Profile Names to replace the "Player" and "Guest #" names !.***

So I've just got a question, I downloaded someones hacked patch to my flashdrive, and now I can't seem to find the patch, even though I did save it in the usual area where all my other prestige hack items and stuff are, what do I do?

If you have a Jailbroken PS3, then install a 1.11 and do coloured classes, then re install your patch you have now.
Its a compromise if you cant find anything

Do you mean, when you load up MW2 its just the official patch
