That bypass method doesnt load the patch completley witch means he wouldnt get the map packs because 1) they become a part of the patch and 2) the orignall game doesnt have a bonus map option when you go in private match so he didnt do it like that

when you install the map pack you'll see the map pack becomes a part of the patch and if he deletes the patch, he deletes the map pack

he probably just edited the patch so he can still do elevators...

i thought i read somewhere that with something about the geometry of the game that elevators could never be patched. correct me if im wrong?
