You have to host the modded pkg on the internet so it can be downloaded by the ps3 or it will give you an error.

Yep because the ps3 cant access the computer to get the file it has to be on the internet. That is why it gives the error message

Ok thanks, I got it as far as sayin something along the lines as (The installation process has failed(after 100% download)) or something similar with a random PKG from my desktop.

yeh but i got my proxy to install a pgk of my computer and it worked(of course it wasnt modded and the checksum and size were the same)

It doesnt make a difference if your downloading it from the pc or a direct link, you will still get an error.

you guys are stupid, i downloaded several .pkg files onto my ps3 from my computer several times. i can't install them because psn notices i did not buy that item. all you do is start a download, let it get to 1% then pause it, look into your logs and copy the top link, go to replace files and click add, then in the first column paste the link, then in the second column put in the path to the file you want to get downloaded to your ps3, then resume download from the ps3.
