what you guys mean nice tip how is this a tip i don't understand him. all i know is in order to install games on your ps3. And as for the patch why would you wanna mod the patch anyways ? i think it has to do with unknowns 3.4 program that he made he said it worked on line once so. so i was thinking format you hdd and do a save game from his 3.4 and save the HDD onto you pc. you will need a before with regular game save and a after with the mods he did and those are probably the sections you do the moddin in on the hdd.

Not really. the way i was this was checking the error code and finding out that it was a timeout error. meaning that the ps3 couldnt find it.

When you wait for 1% it messes the whole download and does it say it notices you havent bought it?

it doesnt mess the whole download, you could just wait for it to be 0% and pause it, but you have to have it download in background then replace files then continue the download, and the message it gives you is an error code, something like 8002aexx w.e that means its a copyright error.
