UPDATE :

I GOT TO INSTALL THE PATCH FROM PROXY BUT WITH THE DSKTOP METHOD LIKE CLICK THE LITTLE BOX AND SELECT THE FILE AND IT STILL DIDNT WORK I HAD I PATCH WITHH ALL HACKS THANX TO FLOCKRCK AND I GUESS PATCH IS NOT THE METHOD MAYBE WE SHOULD LOOK OVER THE GPADO_MP OR PARAM FILES I DONT KNOW I CAN GET THE PATCH TO PS3 EVEN THE PATCH WITHH ALL HACKS BUT THEY ARE NOT FUNCTIONABLE

Windows? Mac? Linux?

Windows 7, Xp or Ubuntu. I have all three.
But I've tried on ubuntu and I don't understand where i put the SDK.

"With yum and the RPM installed, now you can just type "yum ps3unpkgr" in Terminal instead of code editing.
When you get the SDK and install the binaries (the RPM is right there), you can use "ps3unpkgr -x <PKG name>" and unpack everything.
To pack it into a PKG again, use "ps3unpkgr -c <PKG name>" and it will pack.

When I type "yum ps3unpkgr" in terminal, it doesn't work.

I have exactly the same problem as you. I cant figure it out, iv tried on linux but not windows yet, michaels TuT isnt very clear. i dont know how to install RPM but have installed Yum.

Hmmm.....very peculiar..I use Vista and it worked for me
