(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Dropshotting Is a Technique where you laydown and shoot at the same time, Most people who shoot at you will aim for the upper body, So dropshotting basicaly makes you dodge the bullets. This technique is used mostly on W@W, but their are still people who do it on MW2, I do ;]

How to Dropshot:
Dropshotting is simple, all you do is hold 3 buttons at once - LT, RT & B. The hard thing about it is aiming the shot right. When your laying down the aim of the gun will go down with you, so you have to move it up as you go down.

When you see a person and you go 1 on 1 with them hit the 3 buttons and you should kill him ;]

Scenario:
1) You run around a corner and bump into someone, its normally a 50 50 chance if you die or kill the person, but if you apply dropshotting the person you bump into will not know where you are because he/she will be looking up and not down and then you just Spray and Prey.

2) Your getting shot from behind, normally you would die unless you get lucky, but If you apply dropshotting into this you could do a 180 dropshot and then shoot, this technique is harder because aim the shot up is hard when you've done a 180, this would be much easier for a quickscoper becuase normally quickscopers have the sensitivity 8+ and have the ability to hit 180 shots.

3) Dropshotting is also useful when you are being shot from somewhere you dont know, like someones in a building and you know their about to kill you you could just pop a dropshot in their and they will most probably miss then you just run away and then kill him later on.

Dropshotting is hard at first but you will get used to it, Pros that use this technique know when to apply a dropshot. Normally I apply a dropshot when I know I have no chance against a person.

I will be providing links later on.

Funny that, sensitivity only goes up to ten... I don't mean to piss on your chips, but lying doesn't make you look impressive, it makes you look like an ass.

I use to drop shot every time i came 1v1 with someone but i got out of the habit. This weird thing would happen tho. Everytime i dropped, i would aim up as usual but i would aim a little high for some reason and the same everytime, and i would get headshots 7 out of 10 times.

Lol sensitivity 14 is possible.. all you need is a HxD editing program & switch a few digits..

And to OP, I have been dropshotting ever since CoD4. I remember my friend getting owned by me all the time on 1v1, & he complained about me dropshotting. In W@W he decided to dropshot too LOL XD.

For some ppl (like my friend) dropshotting isn't just dropping and shooting, Pros will know that the highest level of dropshotting is when you 1st: Aim & shoot, then drop to the ground asap, once you hit the ground & they're dead, you would be able to then run. This allows for fast and efficient rushing. So quick transitions are a big part of dropshotting.

Also dropshotting is better for rushers, if you don't rush, I wouldn't recommend this, but of course this is just my opinion.

Changing to tactical layout should be done anyway. I used to snipe a lot, I was never one of them quickscoping homos so it was vital to get into cover quickly. There is no better way than to use tactical to drop behind cover. Drop shotting is really effective even if you're not rushing. Look at SeaNanners, the guy dropshots almost every time. He's probably the most defensive player I've ever seen!

Right that's true but like I said, it's my opinion. I just think campers should have a better chance at CQC where since they don't run a lot, they could easily knife, since they're on the ready LOL.

But yeah tactical layout is, like you said, great for hiding behind cover. I'm also glad you're not those QS'ing scrubs that thinks they're so 1337 ROFL. In the end, they usually lose matches.

Surely, "true campers" would have claymores set up anyway... They'll have plenty of time if the person is dead before they even get in the door.

+rep for you Smile
