(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Unkn0wn obviously wants to use the linux OtherOs due to his statement about using 3.15fw and saying look what the PS3 hacking teams have done in the past three years pointing to GeoHot.

GeoHot quote we he discovered exploit in OtherOs
"3 years, 2 months, 11 days…thats a pretty secure system"

I think we need an up-to-date PS3 and one with 3.15fw to use linux on and mod the patch on that PS3 then transfer it to the new PS3 and load it to get the hacks. Also I know theres a setting to transfer stuff from one PS3 to another but theres probably an easier way..

Only if Unkn0wn could tell me if this is right lol cuz people probably won't believe this.

Like a boss
Just a possibility but there is a way to bypass the Fw update so either you could play online with a 3.15 system or you could transfer it to a 3.41 and play on that which both ways don't make a difference

Who’s Jim Erased?
According to your theory, and knowning that you can't transfer data between 2 ps3 with different firmware...It could be possible to edit the patch on the lower firmware, then update the firmware, send the data to the other ps3, use infectus (maybe?) to downgrade the firmware on the older.
Then again, when you want to change the patch re-start doing this.

I think this is the way

Dude come on.. were gonna keep looking, were not gonna stop until we figure it out. Also what if its not just linux maybe it could be using that firmware's OtherOs exploit to run something other than linux cuz i know theres others.
