(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I think that sniping really grew after the release of modern warfare 2. once the montages came out and the clan OpTic got bigger, everyone wanted to be a beast sniper. i personally get rly frustrated after like 3 games and then stop. then the next morning, i see a cool montage and then start sniping again. what are your guys' opinion on the sniping community? what are your reasons on why it is so popular?

Getting a nice kill sniping is a lot more satisfying than getting a kill with the UMP or most other guns. It gives you a break from the boredom of running around with an SMG or assault rifle.

the reason why (i think) people like to snipe is because they think they are better than u just because the throw a gun into their eye thinking that is what makes them better than everybody else. but the only people that will rape your face is those that quickscope across the map and hit a moving target while moving themselves in one shot and only they have the right to brag. sadly like a few people can do it. also after quickscoping took over mw2 u will hear everybody yell about "hardscoping" but thats what a sniper is. a quickscoper might as well use an assault rifle like everybody else.

Although i have played GB on the Xbox aswell as the PS3, and i have to say the 360 version does have more skillfull players. Personally i beleive its because MLG concentrate more on the 360 as it seems more popular with gamers due to the better online features.

I have a ps3, and i admit, there are better players on the 360.

Cod4 was awesome too, after I watched Blackoutz montage, I wanted to snipe sooooo bad!

I have both systems and honestly, people on XBOX are a HAIR better. Barely. Some matches you can tell, others you can't. But it's not really enough of a gap overall to tell the difference.

Yes I have both consoles too and there is no difference what so ever.
And saying that GB players are better on Xbox is retarted, it just means that you're being paired up with bad people on the PS3, but there is thousands of PS3 teams way better than 360 teams.
Both consoles are even so I would just say stop being a fanboy.
