Well I bet he made a program that unpacks the pkgs with the correct headers in that program. And then he mods it and then repacks it with the same headers and has a checksum checker and a syntax checker. whick would make sense since every ps3 game has pkg files as patches. so that is how he is modding all these games. Then he modded the COD games so easily because he knew the headers for all of them.

And unknown is an amazing programmer so he could probably do that.

I think the is the right route.

Its obvious he made a program, No need for YET ANOTHER post telling us this.

You can't get sonys siginture like that or the whole system is hacked. He could run homebrew, ISO loaders etc... it would be a much bigger hack if he had done that.

That's not true whatsoever. Obviously he hacked the system without working for Sony and he's an experienced programmer, he would just have to know his shit.

he doesnt need sonys signature he just need he right things to open the pkg.
