In my eyes theres a big difference between the broad term of "people", and xX_l3G1T-Sc0P3rzz-PR0zOMFG_Xx (generally from an age ranging between 8 - 13) that have a cry if anyone in the lobby isn't using an Intervention. And if somehow everyone IS using an Intervention, if they lose they will find stupid excuses etc. Can't blame the juveniles hahaha.
But yeah I hardscope in public matches all the time, its just quickscope private matches that it actually kinda matters (as everyone is quickscoping)

Well people have different reasons:

-If you kill someone with something, they usually will get mad and flame you. So if you hard scope someone, and kill them, they will be mad that you killed them and flame you.

-People think no scope kills and quick scope kills take more skill. I agree they do, but I mean lots of these people's shots are just lucky. I would rather get 3 hard scope kills, then 1 nice quick scope/no scope kill and then die the other 2 times because I missed the shot.

-People think they look nice, so they have expectations when they see someone with a sniper rifle, they assume they will be doing nice 1337 shots, which in your case and in lots of cases it is not happening, so maybe they are disappointed and flame you.

-People like to bitch and troll, so lots of people are doing it just for attention and to hurt someone else to make themselves feel better. They are just bullies. Or trolls who flame to get a reaction.

These are a few reasons I can think of.

The reason is simple, because you just killed them.

• If you hard scope someone, you get trolled
  
• If you knife someone, you get trolled
  
• If you use a riot shield, you get trolled
  
• If you use a UMP 45, you get trolled
  
• If you use a rocket launcher, you get trolled
  
• If you get a ninja defuse, you get trolled
  

The simple cause of trolling on Modern Warfare 2 is that people will troll you no matter what. As soon as you kill them or humiliate them, they will find something to try and restore their ego.

People who have developed the knowledge of the mute feature and play for fun usually aren't affected by the trolls on Modern Warefare 2, or any other game by that matter.

Hard scoping is something of a controversial subject. I however hate the term in itself, as it is not a hard scope, it's a sniper kill.

In reality the controversy is something of an opinion, and how you look at the game.

Do you look at the game as a war simulator, or a game based on war?

yup people are always complaining alot when you kill them more then once within 20 sec its funny they talk all this garbage but if you just keep silence and laugh and keep killing them then ur the better person and they just leave

Yeah i know, i was in free for all with my friend, running around getting the 29 kills then bringing out the sniper.. i purposely got a Hard Scope.. The next 5 minutes i kept getting hate mail and giving me abuse down mic's..

They take the game too seriously.

Because the Call of Duty series community is a joke.

People don't like to be killed. They'll call you gay if you use anything

Congrats and agreed. I usually like to hardscope those kids with an M21 (and spray up close) just to piss them off.

People build their own set of rules (like Intervention only) and expect people to know and follow them. Then get pissed when they don't.

Then go play a different game and bitch about that.
