Someone went to the bomb to defuse it and I killed them, then the last player goes to defuse, I killed him to win the round.

After the round the other team was yelling "camper" and other stuff which was stupid in my opinion, I got hate mailed by the other clan... I mean really? I was suppose to DEFEND the bomb. What do people want me to do? run around away from the bomb until someone defuses it? thats stupid... Post your thoughts on this or if its happened to you.

Camping= Claymores, Silenced gun or sniper, most likely prone or crouched on the edge of a map or hard to reach building.

So no, you were not camping.

defending is not camping. camping is staying in one spot / or in a corner waiting for a kill then kill and move to another corner. if you have an objective to defend. you need to defend and **** what they tell you. the objective of any GAME is to win and if you have to defend a bomb to do so and your on the defending side then wtf. but if you in tdm and your in one spot , in a corner then you deserve the hate mail.

I don't know if you guys read the thread, or just saw camping and automatically your alarms went off.

But they guy was defending the bomb site, he was NOT playing TDM, FFA, or Ground War.

If defending a bomb means camping, NEAR the bomb, then I don't see how in the hell that's a bad thing.

I don't play those modes, but you can't call someone a camper for defending a bomb, like really? Get a life. People complain about camping more than OMA.

I had a guy on my team the other night who was 40-5, still bitching on the mic about campers. It's like dude, STFU

Wtf? Your right, he would know where your bullets were coming from, after watching the killcam...

So when you've planted a bomb, you go somewhere to watch over it or listen for the defuse and then run around in circles or go prone and start dry humping the dirt because you feel if you stay still people will call you a camper?!? Ok...

I got called a camper for planting the bomb in the house on Estate, hearing the guy and sat in a corner for about 2 seconds before he walked in front of me and got knifed.

Just ignore them, they do the exact same thing when they plant the bomb. :rolleyes: They want you to let you headshot them and do random bullshit until 6 seconds left (that's the only cool time to defuse at /sarcasm) and fail at the defusal.

If you camp in a Corner near the bomb, that is CAMPING. If you're going around looking for people trying to come to the bomb, but staying in the vicinity of the bomb, you are defending the bomb w/o the camping. Like in Favela, if you plant and camp at the A bomb in the grass, you are camping. How would YOU feel if you got shot by someone camping in a corner with cold blooded pro, you would feel the urge to yell camper. Just get up, check for possible enemies in stairs, hallways but stay near the bomb, not 1 INCH close to the bomb, but in the general area. Otherwise you'd be called a camper.

The point of the game is to defend the bomb, so even if he is indeed camping why would it matter???? I don't play these game types but if I was killed by a guy laying in the grass, to defend a bomb, I would be angry I got killed, but I wouldn't try to justify it by saying he was camping. A death is just that a death.

Now if he noobtubed me, then I would be pissed...
