Someone went to the bomb to defuse it and I killed them, then the last player goes to defuse, I killed him to win the round.

After the round the other team was yelling "camper" and other stuff which was stupid in my opinion, I got hate mailed by the other clan... I mean really? I was suppose to DEFEND the bomb. What do people want me to do? run around away from the bomb until someone defuses it? thats stupid... Post your thoughts on this or if its happened to you.

My god what are you man? You play MW2 too objective/seriously. It means, you don't know how to survive with your feet moving a.k.a. you're a noob at defending.

i always defend the bomb in demolition its the best way to get kills, nest to spawn camping

I'm a guy who doesn't make excuses or try to rationalize why I got killed. IF I was playing that game mode and someone killed me while they were DEFENDING the objective, I'm not going to try and say, "oh well he's a camper". If it was FFA or Ground War or something I would understand.

And why would someone need to keep their feet moving while they are defending????????????????

They should run side to side just to give the enemy a warning that they are there and to avoid "camping"?

It shows you got skills and aren't afraid to move. That's why Machinima posts these videos.. Honestly, all I'm saying is if all you can do to defend the bomb is a camp in a corner and wait and never move you really do suck. HONESTLY, don't get mad, you would suck in a 1on1.

People will always complain about something. You had every right to camp the bomb site, that is why it says defend on it when you plant the bomb, you are suppose to defend the site now. That is what you did.

Camping in modes like FFA, Team Deathmatch, Dom and Ground War is what scrubs do, however making excuses for getting owned is just as bad. People on MW2 are hypocrites. They'll complain about campers, yet you'll see them in a room with a Claymore and a silencer.

True campers are scrubs who get average or poor amount of kills and generally don't help the team.

I get sick of people who can't man up though. They go 9-15 on average and call everyone else campers or scrubs. Its like dude STFU, if you see a Chopper Gunner don't keep running out getting killed like a noob, grab a Stinger and Cold Blooded class and take it down, or find cover til it goes away.

Stop running in the middle of maps with SMGs and getting mad when people pick you off.

If you watch the top players' videos. They rush, but they also use cover, and have good awareness. Running around without being aware of your surroundings or using your HUD like Rambo is just as useless as camping.



Machinima doesn't get very many views with videos that are Hardcore or Plant/Destroy bomb modes because they are boring and are campfest. The difference is if you are DEFENDING a bomb you probably should find some cover to kill players trying to get the bomb.

I am not mad. I don't play search at all. I play Team Deathmatch, Domination and Ground War.

So don't act like you know me. All I'm saying is that if the point is to defend, then why should there be rules to defend it?

I mean do you have like a 13 inch TV and you can't see people very good, so you need them to move in order for you to get kills????

Also, why do people mention "1v1" stuff? That's essentially proving you suck. I play 1v1 on Sports, or Fighting games. Why the hell would playing 1v1 on a FPS be good at all?

Technically speaking, if you were playing search, and a guy was defending the bomb sight by camping, and he killed you, that technically means he beat you in 1v1.

I don't play modes like Search because it's filled with boring gameplay and camping. However I realize in those modes camping is actually probably the smartest thing to do when defending the bomb.

At the end of the day, you should feel like a lame, for saying that a guy DEFENDING the bomb should move back and forth, BASICALLY BECAUSE IT MAKES IT A FAIR FIGHT FOR YOU. Which is LAME. I think you would suck in a "1v1" unless it was setup like the old wild west where you count to 5 and shoot each other.
