Isn't rafficas better then a single shot dealgle. Well why do they use it?

The Rafficas get pulled out as fast as handguns do.

Don't think they do mate.Raffica's are switched like a handgun and classified as a handgun on last stand but I think there's a small difference between switch out time of about 0.5-1 second. I've played a lot of time sniping in MW2 and used about every secondary, especially the raff's and the hndguns an I've always found handguns to pull out quicker and savemy ass a lot more times.

Get me some proof though and I'll give you some +rep and prop .

Well I tend to pull it out faster and shoot pistols faster than i could kill some guy when i try to pull rafficas out and spray

Handgun is slightly faster. By point-something seconds

I usually use .44 tacknife cos it's got less recoil then the deagle and is more powerful (longrange is two shot kill whereas deagles is 3) The ironsights are fixed with tacknife and you're better prepared to knife a few people.
Usually M9 akimbo > deagle/ .44 tacknife though

Akimbo Raffica's are good, if they work for you then keep using them, I have them on 6/10 of my classes. I don't like the deagle that much in Mw2 cause they changed the recoil a bit to the point you can't shoot as fast, the magnum is beast akimbo, good with standalone FMJ or tactical knife, low recoil for it being a magnum. If I were to choose between one of them I say go with the magnum. But like I said if the Raffica's work for you then keep using them, don't ruin the fun of the game by using something you don't like and cause you saw someone else using them.

I personally find it hard with Deagles because they have to much recoil. I also liek the .44 Akimbo with a sniper. They kick ass

Actually the Raffica's get pulled out 0.2 seconds slower but I'd rather take the 0.2 slower swap time and get a more superior secondary.

No one has noted this, but I think that with a Handgun out, you will swap back to your sniper quicker than with a Raffica. Personally, I use the Desert Eagle Tactical Knife on my Sniper class. It's all about the iron sights to me. I think the M93's iron sights are just bad. If you put a sight on it, the bullets won't go straight to your dot. The Tactical knife on the Desert Eagle makes the aim point go in the direct middle, if you have FMJ, it's banked off to the side. The Desert Eagle has open iron sights, with simple "dots" to line up your shot, and the "dots" show well on all maps, where the M93's fade out. Then you may say I should use akimbo. 1st off, I use Ninja on my sniper, so akimbo is extremely unreliable and inaccurate when moving, and stationary. 2ndly, I want my bullets to go where I aim, with akimbo I can not be precise. And last but not least, the status and looks. The Desert Eagle is an iconic handgun, it's the most powerful pistol in the world. I bet maybe only 5% of the MW2 players knew what the M93 Raffica was before the game came out, while everyone knows what the Desert Eagle is, even non-COD players. The Desert Eagle looks very cool. It has a very unique finish on it, it looks big and strong, and has an epic tactical flashlight on it. When you get a game winning kill with the Desert Eagle, the people on the mics will say things like "Deagle Rape!" and "Deagle Skill!" While for the other players get a game winning kill with a Raffica, and people will say things like "Noob.." , "Raffica Scrub." , "A Raffica, Really?" and, "What a Noob." I hope after reading this, you all will go out and use the "Deagle" :mudkip:
