Before I moved to my current location I had a lower isp package like 8down/1up and got host ever-once in a while and seen no difference. But we moved and upgraded 25down/3up and when ever I'm host I see a huge disadvantage. When-ever I round a corner I'm dead, I die in like 1 one less shot and everyone takes an extra shot to kill.

To be honest it's ruining the game for me.
Hosting I'm like 8k/13d+ a match
Not-Hosting I'm playing like my old self 14k/7d-

basically I just want to know if anyone else seems to be experiencing a host disadvantage?

You're supposed to be advantaged 100% of the time.

Maybes its because you're mindset is messed up and hence you don't do as well.

Or maybe its because when you host with higher speeds its just that people who are good just join your game.

Theres no way being a host will be a disadvantage.

what you said makes me think, cause now that I think of it. I am getting put up against people who are like 4 or 5 prestiges ahead of me..I'm slowly working on my mindset.. still doesn't change the fact that My character dies in less shots tho...

lol exactly if you're host the worst thing that could happen is as you said die in less shots but the same happens to others as well
(by that meaning you take just as less shots to kill someone) cause everything becomes levelled when you're host its just when someone has a red dot connection then you can totally take advantage of it haha.

I love it when i have really good connection ump45 shots take like 4-5bullets instead of having to shoot like a 1/3 of your clip.

In anycase just keep playing and leave if you're having a bad game no point in playing games where you're getting owned hard.
