This term usually is said by lil b*tch snipers that suck at quick scoping and want you to stand still and not move or shoot so they can touch themselves to an old and overrated shot.. And for the people living in the past.. quick scoping is old, its not cool anymore and it dosn't impress anybody, it was a phase, i did it, i got over it. Just saying, and you know its true if you get a game winner with it people won't even say cool. Sure its fun and i guess it takes skill but if you wanna handicap yourself thats your problem not mine.

Like the other day i was playing around in ffa with an aug bar, was'nt drop shotting or anything and this little geek is like OMG TRYHARD STOP AUG TRYING OMG like wtf? smd every time i saw him after that i on purpose jump then drop shotted to piss him off..

its just a word thrown around, like noob, the real try hards are people like me, i have a 130$ headset, and up to about a month ago i was one of those guys bitching about everything. This games brings out the worst in you, and when it finally clicks that its just a game, you feel like an idiot for acting the way you did...

Wow people get mad and Invent Excuses

The term is used incorrectly by little 8 year olds and bad snipers.

Tryhard is when you are actually putting everything into the game to try and win, pushing to get the win. Literally Trying hard. Lets face it most the time when you play cod you just play for a bit of fun so you don't go OTT at trying to get the win, unless your one of the people who shout down their headset like a retarded 8 year old. COD is a game, I don't take it too seriously, so I'm not going to strain to get a win.

quick-scoping, you are just ranting now. It doesn't matter if it was meant to be a 'phase' people still do it, they have fun doing it, and it gives them lots of views on Youtube etc if they get a good montage out. Why make a video no-one wants to watch. Quick scoping gets lots of views. Also quick scoping is one kind of measure of skill. You're opinion on Quickscoping is against the general concensus so good look with that.

I think someone needs to turn off that PS3 and calm down for a bit.

I agree with this guy ^^. I don't "try hard" in any video game but I don't camp either in MW2. I play for some laughs with my mates.

And I know everyone has a quickscope rant now and again, even me, and I snipe 70% of the time. But you say it's a "phase" but people like Zerkaa and OpTic would disagree. They have insane amount of subs and are getting paid for it for it, and OpTic have been around for ages. I'm not saying I like OpTic, I find them annoying tbh as they've made every 10 year old think they're amazing at quickscoping.

Quick scoping will be around for a LONG period of time and I can see where you're coming from on the "tryhard" thing but it's not always correct.

Just my thoughts...

Hey i posted this! like not even a month ago.

it sounds like you ran into a 10 yr old. mw2 is full of them. i enter rooms now and mute everyone . even if they dont have a headset. kids complain about everything except q/s.
