I agree with this guy ^^. I don't "try hard" in any video game but I don't camp either in MW2. I play for some laughs with my mates.
And I know everyone has a quickscope rant now and again, even me, and I snipe 70% of the time. But you say it's a "phase" but people like Zerkaa and OpTic would disagree. They have insane amount of subs and are getting paid for it for it, and OpTic have been around for ages. I'm not saying I like OpTic, I find them annoying tbh as they've made every 10 year old think they're amazing at quickscoping.
Quick scoping will be around for a LONG period of time and I can see where you're coming from on the "tryhard" thing but it's not always correct.
Just my thoughts...
I guess i didn't make it clear by what i meant by try-hard. What i meant was im going to play the game and not just stand there and take hits.. i thought i made that clear with the last paragraph. Obviously nobody wants to go all out for every game.. i don't think i ever go all out. My point is even IF i went all out on every game why should that be looked down apon?
And about quick scoping I don't think i made that clear either. Maybe its just me but if you rewind to the beginning of summer sniper lobbies would just spontaneously occur in ranked matches and everybody loved quick scoping. Now its liked less, meaning it was a phase. I guess i could relate it to cod4. Everybody liked cod4 and now most people moved on, sure people still play cod4 as much as they use to as people still quick scope but the hype, popularity and enthusiasm for it is greatly reduced, thus its a phase. Dunno how to make it more clear.

Tryhard is when you are actually putting everything into the game to try and win, pushing to get the win. Literally Trying hard. Lets face it most the time when you play cod you just play for a bit of fun so you don't go OTT at trying to get the win, unless your one of the people who shout down their headset like a retarded 8 year old. COD is a game, I don't take it too seriously, so I'm not going to strain to get a win.
quick-scoping, you are just ranting now. It doesn't matter if it was meant to be a 'phase' people still do it, they have fun doing it, and it gives them lots of views on Youtube etc if they get a good montage out. Why make a video no-one wants to watch. Quick scoping gets lots of views. Also quick scoping is one kind of measure of skill. You're opinion on Quickscoping is against the general concensus so good look with that.
I think someone needs to turn off that PS3 and calm down for a bit.
Did i ever say i go all out to win?.. I'm simply arguing that people have no right to call somebody a tryhard even if they are one, they don't really exist in actuality only in competitive matches. And your right it is just a game thus i should be able to do whatever i want whether it be quick scoping or try harding.
I don't see where you got that im ranting about quick scopers doing what they do, im simply saying that they should just shut up if they want to handicap themselves the rest of us don't wanna hear about hit markers or so called tryhards. To your entire youtube bit.. cool story bro.. unless your making tonnes of cash off it.. it'll help you a lot in life? Although i won't judge people who do it as a hobby.
And i always say this to people who want to speak on behalf of everybody, if its the general concencus give me your link to the poll where at least 90% of people disagree with me. I concider 90% a general concencus.
Im sorry but if your that ignorant that you think everybody loves quick scoping and quick scopers then just don't reply..
