(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys. I am in need of a new desktop computer and i was wondering if i should invest in a high priced gaming monitor and plug my ps3 into that, or if i should just buy a crappy monitor and just play on my tv like i do now?

Do any of you play your ps3's or 360's on a Pc monitor? If so, is there any significant difference between the two?

Currently the tv i'm on now is a 21 inch old ass box tv and it sucks even with the hdmi cable .

I play MW2 (PS3) on my computer screen sometimes, though the computer screem has an HDMI port so yeah.

1. It is a samsung 22" 2ms response time with 20000:1 contrast ratio.

2. Erm well i have a 32" in my room and i would say it is better than that but then again it was cheap, i have a 52" in my living room and there is no beating that.

I think it just depends on the hertz, there is not a lot in it but a 600Hz is a lot crisper than a 60Hz or a 100Hz

I think they only do the margins, and a computer screen adjusts its resolution to suit for the input resolution so if the PS3 outputs call of duty at 600p the computer screen changes the resolution, it makes no difference where i put the margins because thats how big the picture is and i cannot change that
