I'm really not sure. Trying using a lan and invite me so we can test
Trying using the data transfer, start the 3.41 ps3 with jailbreak and transfer the patch to 3.42; not sure it it'll work but try it. And if it doesn't work, do the update on jailbroken ps3. Then please add my psn so I can get it

Im pretty sure you install your modded patch on 3.41 then update to 3.42 and the modded patch is still there, Id make absolute sure tho first b4 u do. Im sure i seen a post about it sumwhere. If you do manage to get it wrking can you add me? PM me plz m8

Heres a guide I Copied of the site.

1. Boot your PS3 normally (without JailBreak)
2. Delete the MW2 patch from your 'Game Data' folder
3. Boot up MW2 from the disc, not backup
4. You should be prompted to download the v1.11 patch for MW2; download and install the patch
5. After the install for the patch completes, quit MW2, turn off your PS3
6. Unplug your PS3, plug in your JailBreak device, plug your PS3 back in, and preform the JailBreak
7. Run PS3 FTP Server
8. On your PC, run FileZilla. Navigate to '/dev_hdd0/game/blus30377/USDIR/' and look for 'patch_mp.ff'
9. Download the 'patch_mp.ff' to your desktop from your PS3. Open it with HexWorkshop.
10. Open the downloaded patch (the modded one) with HexWorkshop.
11. With the modded patch in HexWorkshop, hit 'CRTL+A' on your keyboard to select all (highlight everything). Hit 'CRTL+C'.
12. Go to the legitimate 'patch_mp.ff' file in HexWorkshop, hit 'CRTL+A' on your keyboard to select all (highlight everything) and then 'CRTL+V'. Accept the changes (if prompted).
13. Save changes to the legitimate patch (File > Save).
14. Back on FileZilla, upload the patch you just saved from HexWorkshop and replace the one on your PS3 (overwrite).
15. Go back to your PS3, exit PS3 FTP Server (quit game).
16. Turn off your PS3. Turn it back on and JailBreak it.
17. Start up MW2, go to a private match, and you'll have the modifications.
