yes if you put the patch on and it works on splitscreen you upgrade to 3.42 and you should be able to host your own rooms. thats how my friend did it

Yes, once you update you can host online. You lose your jailbreak forever and the hacks are permanent. If I've helped LET ME IN THE DAMN LOBBY :p

once you update the patch is there to stay, not sure if it stay if you tur ps3 off tho
