If we got the whole patch folder and then compressed it into a pkg then could I or anyone else for that matter. Load it via proxy server? I need someone to test this who has two ps3's because no one else want's to risk losing there patch.. Also IDK how to repack things into pkg's but I was thinking we could use make_pakg_nrpdm file in the dev kit or whatever that file is called.

Any thoughts?

I noticed on my ps3 that there is a system restore option to factory conditions..... would factory conditions include the firmware that the ps3 came with? Just a possible way to downgrade...

Nah the restore simply restores back to the current firmware state but with all the content gone.

They aren't greedy. I honestly understand a plauseable mentality to why they wouldn't release their tutorial.

Calling people greedy for their own hardwork is dumb. And why call them greedy over a few emblems and camos...?

we know we cant sign them but is it possible to "intercept" a signed patch and put what ever you want in it? or receive the patch re-code it then install?


i personaly know nothing about hacking but just throwing some ideas out there

i assume you need 2 PS3's 1 with linux and 1 normal and system link it somehow i also assume you can add custom patches and hide them inseide a media file and/or a picture load the media file on the linux and transfer it to the normal ps3 to bypass the "sony signing"
