But the problem is that i want to get the mw2 1.11 patch onto the 3.41 w/broken bluray drive so i can use ftp and put a custom patch_mp.ff on there

Since the bluray drive is broken there is no way of getting the game on since it isnt compatable with backup manager so how can i get the patch onto there?

If anyone can solve this i will host a challenge lobby for them!

data transfer , use your 3.50 ps3 to send mw2 1.1 to your 3.41
Note - DONT JAILBREAK your ps3 until you have 1.11 on your 3.41
And EVERYTHING ON YOUR 3.41 will be deleted but it'll still be 3.41

i dont currently have the ps3 but are you sure that will work are you sure that data transfer utility will copy down from 3.50 to 3.41?

you could just use SATA cables and transfer the patch over????:confused:

I have a similar 'problem' (read inconvenience)
I have 3 ps3's
160gb model on 3.50
40gb model on 3.50
60gb model on 3.41 (broken bluray)

the 40gb / 60gb / 1st gen 80gb bluray drive is the same, so just swap them (use [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qztw_aUBQhI"]THIS[/ame] video)
==> Don't forget to swap the boards attached to the drive, as they are assigned to a specific ps3 !
everytime I want to do something on JB-ps3 i just swap out the drives & i'm good to go..
you should try this first, see if that helps !

Data transfer 3.50 --> 3.41 = NO WAY !!
you NEED to have a bluray drive installed in your ps3 to be able to jailbreak (found this out the hard way )
if any questions, fire away, i'll try to help you through

swap it once, so you can download the latest patches & updates for games, then just leave the drive in the up to date ps3, as you won't need it in the 3.41 (for JB, it needs a physical drive for some reason, but it can be a broken one, so put that one back in :p)
