Mw2 patch question - NextGenUpdate

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So heres my problem i have 2 ps3s one is running 3.41 with a broken bluray drive and the other is running 3.50. But the problem is that i want to get the mw2 1.11 patch onto the 3.41 w/broken bluray drive so i can use ftp and put a custom patch_mp.ff on there

Since the bluray drive is broken there is no way of getting the game on since it isnt compatable with backup manager so how can i get the patch onto there?

If anyone can solve this i will host a challenge lobby for them!

you don't NEED to connect to the psn Winky Winky

as long as you have a working internet connection on your 3.41 system, boot normal, insert disc & run game.. it'll tell you there's an update.. you don't need to sign in or even update to get the latest patch..

Oh ok, I allready have my PS3 fully taken aprt atm, since it YLOD'ED
So, all i need to do is unplug the blu ray drive from My 3.50 plug it into my 3.41, Update the MW2 patch, then I can hack via FTP Smile

Hope Sony dont patch the data transfer method :S

i guess they can't.. if you don't have an internet connection & you buy a new one, because for example your 3.30 is about to die on you.
since you have no way to update it, it should always support data transfer to higher FW..
at least imo Happy
