-Put patch_mp.ff on your normal flashdrive and You must login or register to view this content.0.05b.
-Jailbreak PS3 however you do and install the package awesome file manager and load it up.
-On the left side navigate to your usb device and get your patch_mp.ff showing, on the rightside navigate to the usrdir of mw2 where your patch_mp.ff is and delete patch_mp.ff from there.
-Go back to the left side and press select to enter advanced mode and then press circle to copy hit yes and your good to go.

Advantages: you can make a folder on your flashdrive and store all your patches in it and just select what patch you want to use on the fly no more busting out the ftp server everytime you want to play on mods. You can also use Awesome file manager to create a directory(folder) on your PS3's HDD and store your patches in that and then you wont need a flash drive either. Can't wait for a custom FW!!!!!!!
May not work with data transfers need to do some testing.

Ok what I'm having trouble with. I use this to put the patch onto my jailbroken PS3 then I load up lan and start the game and the patch works perfectly. But when I take the dongle out to transfer the patch to my 3.42 PS3 and start a game in lan it doesn't have any hacks on. What am I doing wrong if anyone can help they get +88 rep.

This didn't work for me! patch doesnt work after i unjailbreak!!!! can u plz help i dont got a pc to use ftp anymore and i used this and it doesnt work now i dont have any mods!!!:n:

did same for me yesterday mate, keep well away from this program if you are transferring.

you have to delete 1.11 and re-download

then use FTP to put modded patch on

if u switch patches using this program, then try to DATA TRANSFER to another ps3, the patch goes back to default

dont know why, could be something to do with r-w-w-w or whatever

NO it doesn't work, I coped Mossy's patch over and there was no mods in Lan or SS.

So I copied the normal patch file from the PS3 to my USB, the program showed it had copied onto my USB, plug the USB into my laptop and the patch is nowhere to be seen, so I can conclude that I am not a noob and this program doesn't work.

I didnt know this Ill post that up there I know for a fact it works if you dont transfer but ive never transfered B4 and on my psjb Im using the peek poke syscalls payload.

Wait but if you do that, you still will need to transfer the data to the PS3 with FW 3.50, and i don't think that the Folder thing is gonna work on a ps3 that's not jailbroken
