(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I am trying to figure out how sony signs things and so I am going to look into pkgs... I need a small unsigned pkg and a signed pkg that are exactly the same except for the signature.. Not modded or anything...

Good luck with that, it's signed RSA-512 of the whole file if I remember right. In the .pkg its near the end of the file. i.e. You're going to need more than a couple of patches to compare to crack that. It's been tried a loooong time ago, we concluded it wasn't worth the effort.

yeah if it wasnt for this section, three quarters of ngu wouldnt be here

I don't understand the statistics behind putting those 2 together, but it doesnt have anything to do with MW2 really does it? :P

i already had a theory about that, but they also sign the eboot with encryption. so dont follow this any where. its already prooved wrong in so many ways.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't ppl fix the checksums, install a modded patch and then get a black screen?
