(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, lets get started Happy

Most of you ps3 hackers know it takes a lot of time to just edit a small thing inside a patch. Well heres how to do it in seconds and is simple Happy

First of all you need FF Viewer
You must login or register to view this content.

Secondly you need an Xbox patch or a PS3 To Xbox Converter (BLES00683 only)
You must login or register to view this content.

Lastly you will need BuC_'s Xbox To PS3 Converter
You must login or register to view this content.

Ok so once you have your xbox patch or converted ps3 patch using the tool supplied, you simply just open the ".ff" file with FF Viewer. Edit the patch any way you like but watch out everyone (syntax errors are VERY annoying)

Once you have finnished editing you simply just press File, Save! (you have to save on every gsc you edit)

ok so now you have edited it and all is good BUT WAIT!!! ITS AN XBOX PATCH!!! No worries you simply just convert it using BuC_`s Converter!

Here is Buc Converter Tutorial:

yea i would think this is cool if i could use the programs as nortan picks it up as security risk and deletes the file before it can be used

Ok guys! I see a lot of you are having trouble with ff viewer not opening patches correctly.

this may be because of any of the following

1: "FF Viewer version you are trying to use doesnt work (reccomend the one in the discription)

2: most common problem, the patch is SHIT or is corrupted (can become corrupt when converting goes wrong)

to cure these simply download the correct ff viewer and a stable patch

here is elite mossy v8 (xbox)
You must login or register to view this content.

Open that patch with ff viewer in discription edit any way you like BUT YOU HAVE TO SAVE EVERY GSC YOU EDIT e.g say i go to missions.gsc and change the welcome message and then decide i want to also edit something in mossyfunctions.gsc you cannot just change something then click onto another gsc without saving, this will cause that gsc to go corrupt (dont have a clue why lol)

so once you have finnished edditing something in a particular gsc, make sure you get into a habbit of simply saving! not to difficult lol

P.s this thread is only to show people how to edit a patch the quickest way possible! I WILL NOT be teaching you how to edit a patch, i will leave that so some of you n00bs can learn lol.
