Post: The Quickest Way To Edit Ps3 Patches!

Error… Cat invasion!
Most of you ps3 hackers know it takes a lot of time to just edit a small thing inside a patch. Well heres how to do it in seconds and is simple
First of all you need FF Viewer

Secondly you need an Xbox patch or a PS3 To Xbox Converter (BLES00683 only)

Lastly you will need BuC_'s Xbox To PS3 Converter

Ok so once you have your xbox patch or converted ps3 patch using the tool supplied, you simply just open the ".ff" file with FF Viewer. Edit the patch any way you like but watch out everyone (syntax errors are VERY annoying)
Once you have finnished editing you simply just press File, Save! (you have to save on every gsc you edit)
ok so now you have edited it and all is good BUT WAIT!!! ITS AN XBOX PATCH!!! No worries you simply just convert it using BuC_`s Converter!

Sooo, if im making a PS3 patch i HAVE to edit a Xbox patch and then convert it to PS3? Because i have an PS3 patch i want to edit, which wont open with .ff viewer? Please reply.
Edit : It works when i open the Mossy v8 for xbox, but when i edit for example text, and after i edited it i save it, it just gives me an error. Help?
The error say's;ERROR Opening Fastfile: 'C:/Users/Patrick/Desktop/Patch_mp-extract.dat were not found. HEEELP?!

try running ffviewer as administrator

My .ff viewer doesnt make a .dat file? And i just tried, i get the same error. Any ideas of why it doesnt make a .dat file? Thanks for helping
Just tried editing it, and then saving it, i got the same error. But when i open the file in ff viewer afterwards, the thing i edited, is still there? So it sticks? Weird. :/

check the folder where the patch_mp.ff is when ffviewer is open. let me know if its there. again open the patch in ffviewer then look in the folder. should be a patch_mp-extracted.dat. this happens to me also, but you dont even need that file. save the patch in ffviewer and reopen and check if your edits saved, if they did save, run the patch through my converter
