All you need:

Obviously a PS3

Instructions:

1. Put the FileManager and a PS3 MW2 patch of your choice onto the Root of a storage device.
   
2. Plug the Storage device into your PS3.
   
3. Goto *Install Package Files
   
4. Install The Filemanager.
   
5. Run the Filemanager and navigate to your patch on your USB for example mine is: dev_usb00>patch_mp.ff
   
6. Then press right on the Dpad to go over to your PS3 Directory.
   
7. Go down to dev_hdd0>game>BLES00683(or What ever you region is)>USRDIR. Stay in there
   
8. Now press Dpad Left so you are in your Storage Device Directory.
   
9. Go to down to patch_mp.ff and press R2/Circle to move/Copy the patch to your PS3.
   
10. Now a comfirmation will come up saying if you are sure you want to Move/Copy to the PS3 Directory you have chosen.
    
11. If you are sure Press Start if you are not Sure press Triangle to cancel.
    
12. Then it should copy over in seconds.
    
13. Quit FileManager, Load up MW2 and go to private match and test it out.

When I do thIs it works up until i try n test it. When I start a priv match. Nothing happens, but my friend got in a cl and swapped to his camoed m1014 and it worked. I was using mossy v7 edit by I think derektrotter (not sure). I know I did it right because his m1014 was working but the mod menu (or any mods) didn't show.

I know it wasn't the patch since I'm using it now with the FTP but I find this way of patch swapping allot easier thAn through FTP.

Any help on how to fix this?

for everyone that it doesnt work for u have to press circle wile your patch is highlighted then press start to copy your patch over. not R2

everyone that says it doesnt work is doing something wrong because i switch all my patches this way and they all always work...
