If it works for some and not others, then its a problem with the region of the game.

If it works for no one then theres something wrong with the patch (Probably in the code)

Make sure the patch is a PS3 patch, theres a lot of Xbox patches posted here as well.

If it doesnt affect you, dont ask a question about it. This wastes space.

Anyway, i will answer the question. The reason for this COULD be because of a regional difference in code, but more likely, you did not install it correctly. If you are sure that you installed it correctly, then make sure that you turn your ps3 off before you try to run your patch. also, using an ftp server (blackbox) is MUCH easier than using the file manager. Or your code is jacked up and you coded something wrong. (most likely)

Yea it is because I released my patch on my site, and some people can't install it because they get a blackscreen. So it could be region. But i'm on bles00683, and a mate of me is on the same bles. So i'm kinda confused.
