I have had several friends that got deranked, and friends of theirs have also got it.
Is it the power you love? If im hosting online I give myself and friends advantages over other players but nothing harsh like deranking a whole lobby.
If someone calls me a dirty hacker and starts to talk about my family then yh they might get a bit of deranking but why a whole lobby?
This may not be my friends getting deranked as a whole lobby they could have joined a friend who was in another CL and the host deranked them for joining. (annoying high pitched voices saying verify me) but I know some of these were online.
In my opinion its immature and you are just abusing what many of you have used this for.
I dont mind lots of people having a spinning skull cos of the increase in lobby hosters but doing it to just derank people is just immature and abusing the fact that you can now host.
I know if it was the other way round you would be angry or annoyed so why bother? :???:
Im not speaking from personal experience by the way
If its wrong section then a mod please move

and im not that bad, i have on my host menu a "GTFO Warning"

Tbh,
The reason more people get de-ranked is because they just session join when they are not invited, it really gets on peoples nerves. As the connection goes so low with so many people in the lobby and most of the time when it times out. people are in the middle of unlocking challenges which then takes more time because you have to host again and unlock all challenges for them again.

I came on a few hours ago and 2 of my friends got deranked lol and i hosted hide and seek and someone joined who got deranked, too many people get deranked and then they just spam you 
That reminds me Someone got deranked so i was in the middle of giving him is stuff back and at around 30% he goes "give me admin" so i was like **** off and kicked him
