Well after reading about Karoolus's non-host binds on WaW(which are awesome btw) I decided to see what I could do with MW2, using the same method. I renamed events to buttons_default.cfg(events is the only file which has the same amount of characters) and got working.
My first test was the common godmode, noclip, etc.
I already knew they were removed from MW2, but I thought maybe they were there in PS3. I got Unknown command errors, of course.
Next I used "say" to show messages on the screen. This, of course, worked 100%. It can be used to cover screens(say *huge amounts of buttons here*) or just broadcast a funny message or tell people to subscribe to your YouTube channel. Personally I'm not going to use this too often, but the option is always there.
Next I tried out a few things that were used in CoD4, that weren't too common. Setviewpos, which would teleport you to coordinates, is removed. This would be awesome if it still worked, you could teleport to buildings in Highrise without being host, or get out of the map even when the host has no mods applied.
I also messed around with some DVARs(mainly promod, the aimbot dvars, wallhack dvars, etc.) and those all work 100%. Some of these are nice to have without host, such as the aimbot or wallhack.
There isn't much you can do with binds in MW2 at all. I was saddened by the lack of console commands which could be used to cheat in MW2.
Also, never try to loop anything in this cfg. Looping = client command overflow
