(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, heres the problem, I have tried almost every patch out there with force host but no matter what I do I just sit in a lobby and all it says is "trying to join game 11/25....." Im pretty sure this is because my connection is terrible but I even tried to use wired instead of wireless and it still doesnt work. Please give me possible troubleshoot ideas or tips for improoving connection speed. thanks and if this is in wrong selection feel free to move and call me a noob or whatever, so yea, thanks in advance

Use a patch with theunknown's force host

Make sure you don't have a clantag in.

probably have to upgrade your internet man, i have amazing internet and its still hard for me too connect sometimes, and you need a good router too with an open nat type

It does the same for me ? But I Think The Unk0wns is good But i dont like the patch :L get some 1 to edit like v9 or sumthink and put The unk0wns Force Host in it

I get 50 Hatemails a Day so Force Host in the DT Mossy Edit works fine for me!!


What is your Nat Type?
What is your Ping???

If it is really as terrible as you say you wont be able to get host

but a little tip at last..

You go to private do force host like you know and end the game in the mod menu not via normal mw2 menu...try it m8 it always works for me

This is what works for me using Del Boy's (DEREKTROTTER's) patch.

First of all:

1)Open Nat is a must
2) Having a party helps

Now the steps:

1)Go to Private match
2)Mod Menu>Host> Force Host
3)Close Mod Menu
4)Open MW2 Start Menu
5)End the Game
6) Go online to whatever gametype you desire. OFC, TDM will be the easiest
7)Now it should work

And I say should because:

1) It won't ALWAYS work
2)I've only seen another guy with this tip, but for me, I have to vote to skip for it to work...I tested this, and it's not a good luck charm...I actually need to vote to skip for it to work.
