If you update from 3.55 to 3.56, You will only loose the jailbroken firmware, soo you won't be able to change the patch of mw2. But the edited patch will stay until mw2 get an patch update. The patch update on mw2 will delete your modified patch and put a new unmodified one back in. But until than you will be able too host cl's
