But I didn't have my map packs. I would like to re-download them, however, I don't know if they will wipe my modded patch or not..

If anyone who has tried this knows, please inform me what will happen.

1.Replace modded patch with original mw2 patch

2.install the maps again

3.put your modded patch back on

You can download the maps again it wont affect your patch

I can't coz I updated to 3.56 so i dont have any way to put files on or take files off.

you shouldn't need to delete your save data. just download your map packs, the save data and game data are two different things. i believe. if you'd like to go back to 3.55 there's a tutorial for it.

Well, all we're dealing with is GameData here.
Map Packs are GameData and patches are GameData.

oh well, like i said should be ok lol ! dont see why it would delete your patch
