I'm planning on modding my ps3 mw2 to just have some fun but I've been trying to look around for a thread that explains how all these patches and codes works. But I couldn't find one.

so are you just looking to jailbreak your ps3 then load up a mw2 patch to do challenge lobbies?:confused:

All i'm looking for is to use that menu thing that i see from kill cam when i get killed by someone. (Assuming that's the patch and mod working)

I'm not positive but I think the only way is jailbreaking your ps3 and it must be on 3.55 to jailbreak no other unless you want to risk downgrading your 3.56 ps3 if that is what it is on. There may be though way thru proxy to change the patch which will mean no jailbreak!?!?? But I'm not sure just look and search is all I can say:dunce:

You have to jailbreak on a 3.55 ps3 to be able to add a patch for mw2.

As far as the patches and codes...

Dont worry about the codes. those are for coders to use to add to their custom patches. You probbaly wont want to do this yourself as you have to have knowledge of C++ and some computer coding experience.

Patches are what you want. Those are pre made by coders and are ready to use. Here is a link to what I beleive is the best patch out there right now.

You do NOT need 3.55 to jailbreak.
You do NOT need to Jailbreak if you are clever.

So don't start telling people the only way is to jailbreak 3.55 if you have no idea.

And also how do you add the patches onto your ps3?
