To sum this up, the patch is finished, and Sony is Currently verifying it. This patch will get released on Sony's network soon so be ready for it!

I'm sure this will be their only attempt at fixing it seeing how it took this long. My guess is they may use a new type of encryption. I'm sure they wouldn't release if they think it will be hacked again; however, there is really no way of telling how this may pan out...

I love how everyone thinks we will magically "hack" this as you understand nothing about it. You think mossy will save yur ass every time because he knows something about programming, but that means nothing here still. I know something about programming, but doubt my skills will be useful in this.

The security will most likely be in the self file, so it needs to be decrypted and edited, then re-encrypted. It will be a good challenge, but they won't have it in the ff files due to how easily we can remove that..

IW isn't stupid, they are just lazy. Oh and if you think its going to be easy to hack, why don't you step up to the plate and prove your theory...

why does elitemossy have to get all the credit? he just codes the patches. i've never seen him release any hacking tools that didn't already have the algorithm out there :confused:

oh yeah assuming they *IW* put checks in the .self for checking the ,FF *obvious* and as we know they have already changed the offsets for the .gsc's so all we need is ihatecompvir to just remove the checks in the .self *he's an expert and can do it in hours i think*
and then anyone with time to just rearrange the code for any patch and thats it

i wish sony would get a life. i think of it like this. i think we should hack the system if we own it. i mean we bought it.
