(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It's regarding Hamachi and CL's

1. Can it still be done? Specifically, 3.61 to 3.61 or 3.61 to 3.65?

2. What is the limitation of how far the transfer can be made? Is it as long as both ps3's have the same BLUS of MW2?

3. Is there a Hamachi app for the mac? And if so can a transfer be made if one user has a mac, and one user has a pc?

Thank you, serious answers will get +rep.

Also plz no "why would you want to transfer from 3.6X to 3.6X?"

Thanks

1. I have not heard of what you are talking about. I suppose it does not work any more.

2. Like I said above, even if it did work, I think both have to be on the same firmware and MW2 patch.

3. Yes. You must login or register to view this content.

I don't think the firmware on each console matters, it's basically a data transfer with a really long ethernet cable. If you recall, you can data transfer regardless of the firmware. Although I don't think i'll try it as in my research from old threads I have found most people claiming it not to work, while only a few boast success.

Edit: Cali represent!

No this was proven not working 1000s of times. If you get it that's awesome but to my knowledge it's impossible :C.

yea I was under that conclusion as well until I stumbled across this thread:

You must login or register to view this content.

The thread starter and a few others claimed they had (difficult but possible) success. On the last page, he says:

"it works. I didn't release the +tut all the way.
As this was the beta with many flaws.

If I get possitive feedback, I will release full tutorial..

Its about 4 pages long"

Is he full of BS or what? Also I recall once upon a time, didn't people have short distance data transfer shops here?
